Sharokh (Sha-rock) Mirzai is an American photographer and director, best known for his 35mm snap-shot, flash focused, style that weaves the photographer/subject relationship into his image-making. Constant themes in his work deal with youth culture, race and class, while taking inspiration from his upbringing on the fringes of 90’s Californian culture in a bi-racial, immigrant family.
Sharokh lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
